Surface Mount Components
The SMD-A, -B and -F precision fixtures are designed for
testing all types of passiv e SMD components with body
sizes from 0402 to 1812 at frequencies from DC to
1.8 GHz. Their unique design minimizes stray capaci-
tance and residual inductance. A spring loaded clamp
seats components fir mly for accurate, consistent read-
ings. Models are available for attachment to all popular
meters.
High Frequency L Metering
The SMD-D fixture allows L, Z and SRF testing of
surface mount inductors at frequencies from DC to
6 GHz. The SMD-D accommodates body sizes from
0402 to 1812. It’s a 2-port 50 Ohm device that con-
nects to any network analyzer with 3.5 mm/SMA port
connectors.
Axial Lead Components
The AXL-A precision test fixture is particularly well
suited for testing tight tolerance RF fixed inductors. Built
to the same exacting specifications as our surface
mount fixtures, it ensures accurate, repeatable mea-
surements with most popular meters.
Radial Lead Components
The RDL-A test fixture measures L, Q and SRF of radial
leaded components. The fixture is a one-port measure-
ment de vice with a 7 mm connector that can accommo-
date 5, 7 and 10 mm components. This fixture is particu-
larly well suited to measure Coilcraft’s Unicoil and slot
bobbin molded inductors.
